The year 2011 slowly draws to an end and in about 17hrs we will celebrate 2012 in South Africa...
Personally I don't do New Year's resolutions but I do reflect on the year gone by and draw my conclusions from it.
How has the past year been financially, health wise, work wise, family wise etc etc and from there I will attempt to make it a better New Year.
Looking back I am proud because I have achieved a lot:
My health HAS improved, financially I was ok the past year although it could be better ;), my work has improved, I noticed people copying or taking inspiration from my work! well that has to tell something, lol, family wise a lot has happened, I am a Grandma now of a beautiful little boy Alex, I would love to be a bit closer to some of my family though but that will happen if and when they are ready! You know what they are saying: you have to let go of those you love for them to come back....
All in all it was not a bad year at all but it could be better, there is always room for improvement..., so my New Year's resolutions will be based on the above...
Last but not least a big thank you to all visitors to my blog, one big thank you in particular to Richard of http://rvpainter.blogspot.com/ for all comments posted and the encouragement throughout the last year, it was very much appreciated, so very often you put a smile on my face!!
Enjoy the last hours of 2011, reflect, be grateful and look positively into the future!
